Job summary

Maximus seeks a Principal Analyst - Senior Pricer with Federal DoD pricing expertise to lead pricing for complex proposals. Remote role reporting to the Senior Director of Federal Pricing and collaborating with the Proposal Response Team.

You will read RFPs, validate inputs, perform cost analyses, and develop price-to-win strategies, presenting outcomes to executive leadership. Strong FAR/CAS knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Accounting or Financial Management or related field.
• 10+ years of Price to Win experience, Pricing, or financial proposal experience in State and Local procurements.
• 2–5 years of Federal DoD Pricing experience in complex proposals.
• Advanced knowledge of cost estimating principles and government regulations.
• Strong organizational, verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to build pricing knowledge by reading and reviewing RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Read RFPs, prepare clarifying questions related to pricing.
• Accept pricing inputs from divisions and validate their soundness.
• Compile consolidated price based on inputs.
• Perform cost analysis and estimates for complex proposals per FAR/CAS.
• Identify financial risks and run what-if analyses; propose mitigations.
• Lead Pricing Strategy discussions and provide thought leadership.
• Present pricing highlights and risks to executive leadership.
• Assemble inputs for Federal Price/Business Volume documentation as required.
