Job summary

Credit Acceptance is a data-driven lender seeking a qualified analytics professional to develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models for high-volume decisions. This role offers remote work with occasional travel to our Southfield, Michigan office.

You will translate business questions into analytical tasks, write SQL and Python code, monitor models in production, and ensure data quality for decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, computer science, or related discipline).
• 3+ years of experience applying analytical and programming skills in a business or research environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or SAS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex statistical and machine learning models for high-volume, data-driven decisions.
• Actively monitor models in production and identify performance issues.
• Develop SQL and analytical code to extract and validate large multi-source datasets.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to address business questions and inform strategy.
• Translate business objectives into analytical tasks and modeling approaches.
• Ensure data quality and support production deployment testing.
