Job summary

Credit Acceptance Corporation seeks a Manager of Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning to lead development and deployment of statistical and ML models across credit risk, collections, and operations. You will apply ensemble and deep learning techniques, mentor data scientists, and promote modern data science tools.

Requires a strong background in Python, SQL, and statistics with leadership experience. Remote work option with potential travel to Southfield, MI as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in predictive modeling and analytics.
• 5+ years of experience applying ML in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ph.D or Master's in quantitative discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of predictive models for credit risk, collections, and operations.
• Integrate advanced ML techniques (ensembles, deep learning, NLP).
• Mentor and support junior and peer-level data scientists.
