Credit Acceptance is seeking a Senior Analyst in Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning to design, develop, and maintain statistical and machine learning models supporting pricing, credit risk, and other high-impact decisions. This hands-on role emphasizes rigorous analysis, model development, and production monitoring with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Remote-friendly position with occasional travel to Southfield, MI, and the option to work from our Michigan office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of analytical and programming experience in a business or research setting.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or SAS.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to apply quantitative methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models for pricing, credit risk, and related areas.
• Actively monitor models in production and diagnose performance issues.
• Develop complex SQL and analytical code to extract, transform, and validate large multi-source datasets.
• Translate business objectives into analytical tasks and modeling approaches.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure deployment readiness.
• Ensure data quality and support testing and implementation for production deployment.
