Job summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Sr. Pre-Sales System Engineer to support Eastern PA from a remote/teleworker setup with significant travel to customer sites within the territory.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on HPE Networking, map portfolios to customer needs, and drive successful solutions alongside the sales team. Qualifications
- 8+ years of technical experience in Enterprise IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
- 8+ years of work with networking.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Science/Analytics, Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Industry certifications such as Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, etc. are helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) on all HPE Networking solutions and be able to articulate to customers and prospects.
- Understand customer applications and position working and successful solutions.
- Map the HPE Networking portfolio to the customer environment and requirements.
- Present HPE Networking solutions to customers and prospects to educate them on capabilities.
- Coordinate with Product Line Managers and Systems Engineer Managers for escalations and guidance.
