Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to help translate policy into actionable decisions within an integrated eligibility platform.

You will research federal and state requirements, outline priorities with a collaborative team, and develop concrete recommendations that improve service experiences in government programs. The role involves cross‑functional collaboration with product, design, and engineering to ensure compliant and effective system behavior, with remote options

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of policy analysis experience.
• Hands‑on experience independently researching and interpreting policy using statutes, regulations, or authoritative agency guidance.
• Graduate degree in public policy, public administration, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret policy findings to improve program processes, operations, or technology.
• Identify policy questions, propose approaches, and make progress when work isn’t fully defined.
• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences with cross‑functional teams.
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and edge cases; propose compliant and user‑friendly solutions.
• Develop research plans and synthesize analyses into concrete recommendations that impact service experiences.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation, including scenario and edge case testing.
• Conduct landscape and cross‑jurisdictional research to monitor evolving policies and translate them into implementation implications.
• Build relationships with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise and learn from others.
