Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to translate Medicaid policy into practical recommendations and system behavior. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to ensure compliant, effective policy implementation across an integrated eligibility platform.

You will conduct policy landscape research, identify risks, and support testing and validation, enabling improved service experiences for government programs and end users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in policy analysis or related graduate-level experience.
• Ability to translate policy analysis into practical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication across policy and tech contexts.
• Experience with Medicaid eligibility/ enrollment policy desired.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and human-centered design processes.
• Legal work authorization to operate in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate policy into system behavior and workflows.
• Identify regulatory constraints and propose balanced compliance and user-friendly solutions.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation, including edge cases.
• Conduct landscape research on evolving policies and implications for tech and engagement.
• Build relationships with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise.
