Qualifications

• Hands-on experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices.
• Experience preparing amended Federal (941-X) and State payroll tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of tax payment and filing regulations.
• Proficient in Excel for reconciliation and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Independently research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare written agency responses with complete supporting documentation.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize by SLA.
• Perform high-level trend analysis of customer data and notices.
• Contribute to SOP and KB updates and process improvements.
• Collaborate with related teams and mentor junior staff.
