Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax notices, prepare amended returns, and correct payroll errors across multiple states. The role requires strong analytical skills, independence in a high-volume environment, and mentoring of colleagues.

Responsibilities include end-to-end tax case workflows, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contribution to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience with notice resolution and amended return prep.
• Experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Knowledge of tax payment and filing regulations across jurisdictions.
• Experience in multi-state payroll tax environment a plus.

Responsabilités

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work across notices and amendments.
• Research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation before deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, W-2c) for complex cases.
• Support correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP and prioritize SLA-sensitive cases.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process improvements.
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge base updates.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
