Optum is seeking a Senior Solution Sales Executive - Remote to drive the risk adjustment and quality solutions across payer accounts in a national market. You will build strategic plans, develop deep product knowledge, and collaborate with internal teams to communicate Optum’s value while maintaining Salesforce hygiene and achieving multi-million-dollar quotas.

This role supports remote work nationwide, with travel up to 50% and preferred bases in Central/East regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of selling to payer clients with a track record of multi-million-dollar quotas.
• Experience selling software solutions.
• SaaS experience with ability to demo and sell complex tech-enabled solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ (Central/East preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell the full Risk Adjustment & Quality solutions to payers.
• Build and execute strategic account plans for top payers.
• Develop product knowledge and obtain certifications to communicate value.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align with Optum’s initiatives.
• Maintain Salesforce hygiene and update pipelines.
• Achieve and exceed multi-million-dollar sales quotas.
• Research accounts and identify key players to stimulate opportunities.
• Meet pipeline targets to drive territory revenue.
• Represent Optum at industry conferences and build relationships.
• Leverage AI tools in sales activities.
• Expand business within established accounts, avoid cold calling.
