Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate P&C product decisions into systems that work as intended. You will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, and rating updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and confirm implementation details.

You’ll build user stories, data mappings, decision tables, and acceptance criteria, lead UAT planning, and ensure alignment from business decisions

Qualifications

5+ years as a business analyst or similar role.
3+ years in P&C insurance.
Ability to translate insurance product concepts into structured requirements for engineering and policy systems.
Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mappings.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state configurations, forms, endorsements, and rating changes.
Translate business decisions into clear requirements and functional specifications for Engineering and Tech Product.
Collaborate with Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Engineering to ensure alignment.
Document current and future state processes and manage changes through delivery.
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to validate changes before release.
