Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into systems that perform as intended. You will own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and coverage changes, collaborating across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, Engineering, and Tech Product to ensure accurate implementation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a business or systems analyst, incl. 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Translate insurance concepts into structured requirements for Engineering/Tech Product.
• Knowledge of insurance product lifecycle in policy administration systems.
• Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, decision tables, data mappings, current and future-state docs.
• Partner with Engineering/IT in an Agile delivery environment; assist with requirements clarification, UAT, and validation.
• Synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into clear decisions; surface ambiguity early.
• Bonus: knowledge of policy administration configurations (rating, forms, rules, eligibility).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or similar tools.

• Be the go-to resource for teams needing implementation-ready requirements.

• Ensure traceability from decisions to implementation and testing.
