Chazin & Company, a woman-owned nonprofit-focused virtual accounting firm, seeks an Onboarding Senior Accountant for a fully remote role in the United States. The position requires guiding nonprofit clients through onboarding, reviewing records, resolving discrepancies, and preparing reconciliations under tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates have five years of general accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and preferably a CPA license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years general accounting experience.
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• CPA license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Guide nonprofit onboarding by reviewing financial records and resolving discrepancies.
• Provide full-cycle accounting support across multiple client accounts.
• Prepare month-end close workbooks and reconciliations.
• Review income statement and balance sheet activity for accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries to correct errors.
• Assist with grant management and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate audit deliverables and Form 990 preparation.
