Chazin & Company is seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA preferred) for a fully remote position open to candidates in the United States, with California eligibility restricted. You will support multiple nonprofit clients with full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and audit preparation from a home-based, collaborative environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA license preferred
• Minimum of five years of general accounting experience
• Public or outsourced accounting experience preferred
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
• Audit preparation experience preferred
• Strong command of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles

Mansioni

• Provide full-cycle accounting support for nonprofit clients including AR, AP, payroll, and GL maintenance
• Prepare month-end close workbooks and financial statements
• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance and quality control
• Apply nonprofit revenue recognition guidance (contributions, donor restrictions)
• Review investment statements and prepare investment roll-forwards
• Support grant management and reporting requirements
• Coordinate audit preparation and deliverables
• Assist with Form 990 and other filings
• Prepare specialized reporting for client decisions
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and budget preparation under Controller guidance
