Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead to drive modernization of legacy business applications into scalable cloud-native services on AWS. You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, collaborating with AWS leads, architects, QA, product owners, and offshore developers to deliver high-quality solutions that support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience incl. 5+ years with .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Experience designing, building, deploying microservices or distributed apps.
• Strong C#, .NET, SQL Server, and T-SQL development.
• Migrating business logic from stored procedures to services.
• RESTful API design, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, JWT security.
• EF Core, Dapper, async programming, performance optimization.
• Hands-on AWS with ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, SQS/SNS/EventBridge.
• Automated testing: unit, integration, API/contract.
• Leadership mentoring offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs.
• Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning and code reviews.
• Refine requirements with stakeholders and define acceptance criteria.
• Mentor offshore development teams and remove delivery blockers.
• Migrate legacy data logic from stored procedures to C# services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools while ensuring code quality and security.
