Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Platform Developer to lead the integration platform team from a remote setting. The role focuses on ownership of the MuleSoft portfolio, driving technical delivery, governance, and modernization initiatives.

You will work hands-on with MuleSoft, Apigee, Java, and modern integration technologies in a contract-to-hire arrangement, with a strong emphasis on scalable, secure integrations and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development and integration experience.
• 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
• Experience with Google Apigee API management.
• Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
• Proven ownership of complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
• Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.
• Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-powered development tools.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.
