Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Platform Developer to own and modernize our MuleSoft portfolio in a remote, contract-to-hire capacity. You will design, implement, and govern integration solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across the business and tech teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on API development, platform governance, and leadership in adopting AI-powered tools. A strong background in MuleSoft, Java, and cloud platforms is required to drive scalable integration

Qualifications

10+ years in software development and integration.
5+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience (ESB/API management).
Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
Certifications in MuleSoft or related tech are a plus.
Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Background in microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.
Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI‑powered development tools.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards.
Participate in on‑call support and incident response as needed.
