Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join the integration platform team in a remote setting. This hands-on role acts as the platform owner for the MuleSoft portfolio, driving delivery and modernization initiatives with API and AI-enabled tooling.

The position is a contract-to-hire engagement with W2 benefits and a rate of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. Ideal candidates will have extensive MuleSoft, Java, and REST experience and be comfortable across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and integration experience.
• 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
• Experience with Google Apigee API management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
• Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance of the MuleSoft portfolio.
• Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into integration solutions.
• Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools including AI-powered development tools.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response.
