Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Platform Developer for a remote, contract-to-hire engagement. The role centers on owning the MuleSoft platform, delivering integration solutions, and guiding modernization initiatives in a hands-on capacity.

You will work across APIs, ESB patterns, and API management with Google Apigee, Java, and RESTful services, while collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring the team. The position includes a competitive hourly W2 rate and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development and integration experience.
• 5+ years hands-on MuleSoft experience across ESB, API management, or integration platforms.
• Experience with Google Apigee API management.
• Proficiency in Java and RESTful API design.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
• Ownership of complex technical projects from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
• Act as platform owner, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance.
• Lead technical discussions and mentor team members on best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Implement and manage Apigee API management solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies, including AI-powered development tools.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security standards.
• Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.
