Job summary

Waters Corporation in Milford, MA, seeks a Sr MS Sales Development Specialist to drive Waters Connect adoption in the US and Canada. You will partner with field sales to demonstrate workflows, cultivate opportunities for stand-alone or networked solutions, and relay Voice of the Customer to product teams.

This role requires a strong MS background, travel overnight, and collaboration with product management, marketing, and territory account managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
• 5+ years of mass spectrometry experience including related SW solutions.
• Experience with Waters Connect; Unify is a plus.
• Mass spectrometry field sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales targets for Waters Connect (stand‑alone or as part of MS instruments).
• Collaborate with MS Specialists and Territory account managers to showcase benefits of Waters Connect to customers.
• Collaborate with Product Management to identify future upgrades needed and test them in the field.
• Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction by providing troubleshooting and post‑sales training as needed.
• Visit customers frequently to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their way.
• Build technical competency on Waters Solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource.
• Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information.
• Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs.
• Maintain CRM and full leverage sales tools and applications.
• Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts.
• Develop business through monthly plan of action.
