Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of mortgage foreclosure, bankruptcy, or legal experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Great attention to detail and strict procedural adherence.
• GSE and government experience preferred.
• MSP and LoanSphere experience preferred.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Service mortgage accounts to ensure foreclosure complies with state and federal laws and investor guidelines.
• Ensure First Legal Actions are completed by deadlines and seek extensions as needed.
• Review foreclosure files for default timelines and regulatory compliance.
• Manage foreclosure proceedings by coordinating with mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, trustees, and appraisers.
• Monitor attorney performance and track all system and database activities in the foreclosure process.
• Follow up on outstanding requests from internal and external partners.
• Audit accounts for expense compliance and proper system application.
• Research loans with questionable payments or other issues.
• Respond to audit and quality control requests and report litigated matters to management.
• Analyze portfolio performance, timelines, and status to ensure foreclosure action compliance.
• Run exception reports as key controls to minimize risk.
