Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking a Senior Microelectronics Applications Engineer (remote) to act as a technical bridge among design teams, customers, and business development. The role emphasizes creating detailed datasheets, documentation, and reference designs to enable customer success.

The ideal candidate will have deep IC design/characterization expertise, strong technical writing, and presentation skills, with collaboration across marketing, sales, and engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IC applications engineering, design engineering, or related technical role.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS preferred)
• Proven track record of developing technical datasheets and application documentation

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical specifications, characterization data, and application guidelines.
• Develop and maintain product datasheets for ASIC and standard products.
• Document electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, functional descriptions, and package information.
• Produce application notes, design guides, and reference designs for customer success.
