Job summary

Defense Microelectronics Activity seeks a Senior Customer Application Engineer to support DoD access to advanced commercial microelectronics. The engineer will manage key technical and commercial accounts, translate complex requirements, and guide product development lifecycles from concept through delivery.

You will provide microelectronics technical consultation, drive strategic partnerships, and design/verify hardware using industry CAD tools, aligning designs with manufacturing capabilities

Qualifications

Background in engineering with ABET-accredited degree or equivalent.
Ability to translate complex system requirements into engineering designs.

Responsibilities

Manage key microelectronics technical and commercial accounts from concept to production.
Provide technical consultation to external stakeholders and map designs to manufacturing capabilities.
Drive strategic business development and partnerships in microelectronics.
Design, simulate, and verify hardware components using standard CAD workflows.
Provide technical consultation as FA/CAE to map designs to foundry capabilities.
