Job summary

ShipBob is seeking a Senior Merchant Success Manager to grow and retain our enterprise and strategic merchants. You will partner with internal stakeholders, lead business reviews, and translate merchant needs into scalable strategies across markets.

This role reports to the Manager, Merchant Success and requires 4–6 years in sales and merchant services, executive relationship building, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of sales and merchant services experience.
• Experience conducting business reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to foster a positive team culture and lead by example.
• Proven ability to build consultative and executive-level customer relationships.
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the merchant experience.
• Increase the average performance and KPIs of customers to deliver world-class service.
• Coach team members to elevate performance with middle-market, complex merchants.
• Analyze merchants' supply chain performance to identify opportunities or risks.
• Conduct business reviews and track merchant growth within ShipBob; identify expansion areas.
• Maintain transparent and strategic relationships at all levels within merchants.
