Job summary

Turner Construction Company’s Advanced Technology Group is seeking an experienced Estimator for Critical Facilities-Data Centers. This role focuses on Pharmaceutical projects and may be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

You will prepare detailed estimates for MEP and LV systems from design through construction documents. The position requires 10+ years in estimating, a related engineering degree, strong knowledge of MEP trades, and collaboration with vendors and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field and minimum of 3 years of related estimating experience in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage systems
• Knowledge of MEP systems and related trades
• Strong ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules

Responsibilities

• Communicate estimate scope to Turner staff, architects, engineers, and owners
• Prepare quantity take-offs, analyses, and estimates for MEP systems from conceptual design through construction documents
• Develop relationships with suppliers and trade partners for pricing
• Coordinate equipment pricing and prepare scope requisitions for bidding/procurement
• Support project hand-off to Operations and assist with change orders and risk assessment
• Participate in estimate reviews with Design team and client
