Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Senior Meetings Technology Manager to lead the meetings technology strategy, oversee registration platforms, and ensure seamless attendee experiences across multiple events. This fully remote role supports teams nationwide and partners with IT, procurement, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in meetings/events technology, strong project management skills, and experience with SaaS tools like Cvent and Groupize.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
• CMP Preferred, Cvent Certification (Event Management/Administrator strongly preferred)
• 7–10 years in meetings/events technology, registration platforms, or marketing/event operations (e.g., Cvent, Groupize)
• Bonus: Project management or Agile/Scrum familiarity.
• Driver’s License Required

Responsibilities

• Manage Meetings Management Technology & Platform Support; system administrator for meeting SaaS tools; training, access, data storage, and obfuscation processes.
• Registration Websites & Lead Attendee Management: templates, data workflows, reporting, payment processing, communications.
• Design and Optimize Attendee Experience: build registration sites and apps; ensure intuitive navigation and strong user flow.
• Manage Supplier & Technology Provider Relationships: vendor partnerships; SLAs, roadmaps, renewals with Procurement/IT.
• Drive Innovation, Continuous Improvement & Cross Functional‑Support: research new technologies; analyze metrics; drive process improvements; cross‑unit standardization.
