Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a Senior MDM Data Steward to lead master data governance for patient and provider domains. You will drive identity resolution, data quality, and stewardship standards across the enterprise, partnering with Data Governance and source-system teams.

In this remote role, you will ensure accuracy of enterprise identifiers, manage survivorship, and maintain metadata within Snowflake Horizon Catalog. A strong background in healthcare data and EMPI is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, MIS, CS, Data Analytics or related field.
• 7+ years in healthcare data stewardship/MDM with patient/provider mastery.
• Hands-on enterprise EMPI/MDM platform experience; Verato preferred; others acceptable.
• Experience with athenaOne preferred; Salesforce provider data and Workday as data sources a plus.
• Provider data expertise: NPI/NPPES, taxonomy, licensure, credentialing, payer enrollment, locations.
• Proficient SQL; ability to query Snowflake for identity issues and data quality.
• Experience defining data quality rules and managing issue backlogs; communicate trends to stakeholders.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security for identity data.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise MDM stewardship operations and governance.
• Escalation point for patient identity management issues; drive corrective actions.
• Govern provider master data: NPI, taxonomy, licensure, credentialing, payer enrollment.
• Lead data quality initiatives; monitor lineage, rules, and thresholds.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture to tune matching thresholds and survivorship.
• Document standards and decisions; ensure auditability and compliance.
• Oversee governance artifacts: glossary, lineage, rules, and issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional remediation across source systems.
