Job summary

LifeStance Health seeks a Senior MDM Data Steward to own identity governance for patient and provider data across the enterprise. You will lead resolution of complex matches, establish data quality standards, and drive remediation with data engineering and governance teams.

You will maintain master data lineage, stewardship procedures, and a compliance-focused strategy, ensuring accuracy for analytics, regulatory reporting, and AI-driven use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in healthcare data stewardship, HIM, patient/provider data, or MDM operations.
• Hands-on with an EMPI/MDM platform; Verato preferred; other leaders considered.
• Working knowledge of healthcare data structures; AthenaOne experience preferred.
• Provider data expertise including NPI/LICENSURE/credentialing/locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise MDM stewardship operations and adjudicate complex identity resolution scenarios.
• Escalate and resolve patient identity management issues across source systems.
• Govern provider master data; reconcile NPIs, taxonomy, licensure, credentialing, and affiliations.
• Own data quality standards for EMPI and golden records in Snowflake Silver layer.
• Define survivorship rules and track match, auto-match, and false positives; drive remediation.
• Maintain data lineage, glossary terms, and governance artifacts; partner with Data Governance and source-system teams.
