Job summary

JoVE seeks a Marketing Specialist to build the K-12 demand engine in the US. You will generate MQLs, convert to SQLs and deliver sourced pipeline while shaping growth for a new segment. You’ll lead campaigns and events, collaborate with sales, and optimize performance from education conferences to digital channels.

The role emphasizes travel for conferences, data-driven optimization, and cross-team collaboration in a fully remote setup. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in marketing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in a marketing role, preferably EdTech selling to schools or districts.
• Good experience in the US K-12 market.
• Proven ability to generate qualified leads and pipeline with measurable results.
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools.
• Event/conference marketing experience with lead capture and follow-up.
• Willingness to travel for conferences and events.
• Self-directed, results-driven, organized.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads for the K-12 segment and hand off to sales.
• Drive awareness among teachers, curriculum leads and district admins.
• Plan and run education conferences and events with lead capture and post-event nurturing.
• Produce marketing assets: campaigns, collateral, email, web and social content.
• Optimize strategy based on funnel performance and market feedback.
• Track campaign ROI: cost per lead, MQL-to-SQL, and pipeline contribution.
