Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Manager, Professional Services (Technical Architecture) to lead a high‑performing team of Technical Architects and deliver complex security and identity solutions for customers of all sizes.

You will manage multi‑stream engagements, mentor staff, and drive governance, delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction while partnering with sales, delivery, and engineering to rapidly enable customers with Okta’s value proposition.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Identity & Access Management.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams.
• 5+ years of experience in design, consulting, delivering solutions to external customers.
• Expertise in technologies and protocols like SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise web technologies and security.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Auth0 Certified OR Okta Certified Consultant will be a plus.
• CISSP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, growing, and retaining a team of Professional Service Technical Architects.
• Providing direct management, mentoring, and support to ensure growth.
• Up-skilling team members to ensure they can deliver Okta to customers.
• Active sync with Partner, delivery enablement & address performance.
• Acting as the primary customer liaison, managing relationships and communication.
• Ensuring customer success from start to finish of the engagement life cycle.
• Managing project budgets to meet expectations.
• Oversight for professional services billings, revenue, resources, and utilization.
• Governance & audits of Technical Architecture design and deliverables quality.
• Drive team contribution to Technical Architecture Practice evolution.
• Process improvements within the practice and across Okta PS and subcontractors.
• Overseeing customer project dynamics and multi‑workstream coordination.
