Job summary

Okta is seeking a Services Architect to serve as a technical authority for cloud and on-prem IT systems, focusing on Workforce Identity Cloud for customer use cases. You will translate business needs into actionable strategies and be a trusted advisor, delivering architecture leadership within the Professional Services Delivery Team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT/software development experience, solution design and technical architecture experience.
• 3+ years of consulting experience.
• 3+ years driving application architecture design.
• 3+ years of experience with IAM architectures.
• 3+ years implementing cloud computing solutions (AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce).
• Experience with customer identity use cases for B2C and B2B (SSO, MFA, social identities).
• Ability to communicate with CxOs and high-level executives.
• Experience leading discovery workshops to derive requirements and processes.
• Experience in developing functional/system design specifications for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Review and lead gathering of business, functional, and technical requirements for an Identity platform powered by Okta.
• Document common technical/functional requirements for specific solutions.
• Help create project plans to develop and implement proposed solutions.
• Provide technical leadership within the PS delivery team on customer implementations.
• Assist in periodic health-checks and project reviews.
