Job summary

F5 is seeking a senior leader to manage the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical, focusing on technical sales. You will establish objectives, delegate work, and ensure the SE organization aligns with company goals.

You will oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and cross-functional collaboration to scale the team and deliver market-leading solutions. Remote-friendly role with broad salary range and incentives.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• Experience managing technical SEs in a management role.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the Business Code of Ethics and report violations.
• Manage the SE team: performance reviews, PTO approvals, assignments, training, and hiring involvement.
• Define FY objectives, strategy, and priorities for Engineers in the SE Team.
• Collaborate with management to plan headcounts quarterly/yearly for scalability.
• Recruitment coordination with HR and hiring managers.
• Develop and maintain an effective SE partner plan (PS, support, Marketing, PM).
• Present F5 strategy, messaging, and roadmap to customers/partners.
• Ensure SE team is customer-focused and drives product requirements and market trends.
• Drive customer success and transparent escalation with support.
