The role focuses on end-to-end ML lifecycle, from problem framing to deployment, with collaboration across Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Analytics teams. This remote-first leadership position emphasizes hands-on contribution, mentorship, and setting best practices.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with 7+ years in ML, data science, or applied AI, incl. 2+ years leading teams.
• Experience deploying ML models in production with rigorous experimentation.
• Strong collaboration with product, clinical, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Applied Scientists and mentor them to deliver scalable ML solutions.
• Translate clinical problems into validated machine learning approaches with rigor.
• Partner with AI Engineering to deploy and monitor models in production.
• Communicate methods and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to recruiting, onboarding and team development.
