Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop and deploy AI-powered healthcare solutions. You will work with software engineers, data scientists, data architects, product managers, and clinicians to translate clinical data into actionable intelligence.

You will build scalable ML pipelines, apply MLOps best practices, and contribute to enterprise-wide AI strategies while supporting remote work from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, ML engineering, or data science in production
• 2-3 sentence limit?
• 3+ years designing, training, and deploying ML models in production
• 2+ years experience with Python and core AI/ML libraries
• 2+ years cloud platform infrastructure and cloud-native AI/DS services
• 2+ years statistical analysis, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing
• 2+ years MLOps, CI/CD, containers, model monitoring and governance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI-powered solutions for healthcare challenges
• Perform EDA, feature engineering, modeling on large clinical datasets
• Leverage enterprise AI tools to streamline workflows and automation
• Evaluate AI/ML trends and inform architectural designs
• Build and maintain production-grade ML pipelines and models
• Architect scalable microservices and APIs for enterprise apps
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into robust solutions
