Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced ML models and NLP solutions across healthcare service lines. You will translate raw data into scalable, automated insights that drive strategic objectives and operational performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional clinical and technical leaders, document KPIs, and ensure production-ready pipelines and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare data engineering/analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced analysis of clinical and operational datasets and translate findings into actionable insights for leadership.
• Develop, test, and deploy ML algorithms to predict high-value clinical and operational outcomes.
• Utilize NLP techniques to develop text-based solutions for documentation workflows.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and IT teams to build production data pipelines and visualizations.
• Leverage GCP for data storage, processing, deployment, and automation.
• Design experiments, interpret results, and present metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to organizational policies and SOPs.
