Job summary

CopilotIQ is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering & Analytics to lead and scale our data function from a remote US-based base. You will manage a small global team and contribute to data architecture, pipelines, analytics, and customer reporting.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong communication with executives, and a track record of delivering reliable data platforms in healthcare or related fields. You’ll partner with stakeholders across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering/ data-platform experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience mentoring engineers.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating production data platforms.
• Strong data architecture, ingestion, orchestration, modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL and Python/PySpark skills.
• Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small global team across data engineering, analytics, and BI.
• Own the analytics data platform architecture and reliability.
• Build scalable batch and event-driven data pipelines across domains.
• Establish data-quality practices including monitoring and lineage.
• Define metrics, dimensional models, and semantic layers.
• Deliver dashboards and self-service datasets for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, product, finance, and engineering teams.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive platform improvements balancing strategic and urgent needs.
