InStride Health seeks a Senior Manager of Data to lead our data engineering and data science teams, delivering high-quality pipelines and actionable insights while shaping strategy. This hands-on leadership role partners with product and analytics to align data initiatives with business goals and to drive impact.

Fully remote in the United States, you will mentor engineers and scientists, oversee data quality and governance, and help scale Snowflake-based data warehousing and Looker-based

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data science, or data architecture, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Healthcare or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Experience with modern data integration tools, ETL/ELT, and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Matillion or dbt).
• 3+ years in data visualization/BI tools such as Looker.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary data team.
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models.
• Collaborate with Analytics to build insights in Looker.
• Consult on upstream data changes with Product teams.
• Define and evolve Snowflake data warehousing strategy.
• Enforce data quality, governance, and security/compliance.
• Liaise between data and other departments and report status.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for data engineering and science.
• Evaluate new data sources and oversee their integration.
• Contribute to codebases on high-impact projects.
