Job summary

CopilotIQ is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering & Analytics to lead a small global team, own the analytical data platform, and drive scalable pipelines across clinical, operational, product, and financial data. You will work directly with leaders to define metrics and deliver business insights.

The role demands hands-on data engineering with leadership, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with dbt, Airflow, and AWS Glue. Remote US-based role with cross-timezone collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering / data-platform experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience building production data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong experience with data architecture, ingestion, orchestration, transformation, modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Advanced SQL and Python/PySpark skills.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, AWS Glue, and Looker/Sigma.
• Proven ability to work with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small global team across data engineering, analytics, and BI.
• Own the analytics data platform architecture, reliability, and evolution.
• Design scalable batch and event-driven pipelines across clinical, operational, product, financial, and customer data.
• Establish data-quality practices including testing, monitoring, lineage, and alerting.
• Define trusted metrics, dimensional models, and semantic layers.
• Deliver dashboards and self-service datasets; partner with stakeholders.
• Lead customer-facing discussions on reporting requirements and data delivery.
