Job summary

YipitData seeks a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead one of our data teams and drive architecture, coding, and delivery of core data assets. This hands-on leader will mentor engineers, own critical pipelines, and contribute to AI-enhanced development across products and feeds.

You will own large-scale datasets including transaction and third-party data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and production ownership in a fast-moving, remote-first environment across the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• 3+ years of managerial experience leading data engineers.
• Hands-on with SQL, PySpark, Databricks and Airflow.
• Experience building scalable data systems and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global data engineering team, guiding architecture and delivery.
• Build and scale data pipelines and QA systems for multiple data products.
• Collaborate with product, research and operations to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate engineering execution and documentation.
