Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Manager of Data Engineering AI to lead our data engineering team from a remote US-based location. You will guide IT architecture, leverage AI for data pipelines, and mentor staff while collaborating with product and architecture teams to drive data strategy.

The role emphasizes governance, HIPAA-friendly practices, and alignment with business objectives. You will manage cross-functional stakeholders and advance data literacy across Cotiviti's assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of total data engineering/IT/PM experience, with at least 2 years in management.
• 2+ years leading small to mid-size projects using Project Management methodologies.
• 4+ years with data sets, Hadoop, Spark and ETL tools like Databricks, AWS, Snowflake.
• 2+ years in AI engineering concepts/tools like RAG, Prompt Engineering, Langchain, LangGraph.
• Familiarity with ML Ops and LLM Ops tools like Datarobot.
• 2+ years hands-on software development and database management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Understand Cotiviti across the organization and work across boundaries with Business Leads and Product Managers.
• Drive and implement data engineering architecture using AI to meet performance objectives.
• Develop templates, reference architectures and patterns for modern data pipelines on prem and in cloud.
• Partner with Architecture and Product teams to shape data product strategy and improve data literacy.
• Stay current with AI trends to improve team efficiency, productivity and architecture relevance.
• Manage internal stakeholders and communicate with clients as needed.
• Oversee staff performance, coaching, objective-setting and mentoring.
