Job summary

NCCER is seeking a Senior Manager, Construction Workforce Development & Training to lead the design and implementation of training, upskilling, and career pathways for craft professionals in the construction industry.

This role blends hands-on field leadership with workforce development expertise to identify gaps, build industry-aligned programs with contractors and training providers, and advance lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction, training, or workforce development.
• Hands-on field leadership experience as foreman, superintendent, or similar role.
• Experience building or implementing construction training programs that support workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction workforce development and training programs.
• Collaborate with contractors, training providers, and industry partners to identify workforce needs and training solutions.
• Apply construction field experience to ensure programs reflect industry realities.
• Support organizational growth, sales, and marketing strategies related to workforce development.
• Build relationships with contractors, industry associations, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and NCCER stakeholders.
