Qualifications

  • 10+ years in construction, training, workforce development or related field.
  • Hands-on field leadership as foreman/superintendent or similar role.
  • Experience building or implementing construction training programs for workforce development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement construction workforce development, training, upskilling, and career progression programs.
  • Work with contractors, training providers, and industry partners to identify workforce needs and develop effective training solutions.
  • Apply construction field experience to ensure programs reflect industry realities.
  • Collaborate with NCCER’s accredited network to understand market training and workforce development needs.
  • Support organizational growth, sales, and marketing strategies related to workforce development.
  • Partner with Pearson’s sales and marketing teams to support growth strategies and customer needs.
  • Build relationships with contractors, industry associations, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and other NCCER stakeholders.
  • Promote industry credentials, structured training, and lifelong learning for construction craft professionals.
  • Use workforce and industry data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Monitor industry and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and recommendations.
  • Support NCCER committees, accreditation activities, and workforce development cases as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
