Skilled US is seeking a Construction Instructor to lead NCCER CORE instruction for high school scholars and adult learners in a hands-on lab environment. The role centers on delivering foundational NCCER content, safety discipline, and employability skills within two audiences under one roof.

The instructor will differentiate delivery for youth and adults, maintain credentialing records, and collaborate with employers to ensure relevant, industry-aligned training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Indiana licensure pathway or 7 years of construction experience for adult education.
• Must obtain NCCER Craft Instructor Certification (ICTP) within first year.
• Experience supervising learners in hands-on work environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver NCCER CORE and related curriculum aligned with NCCER standards.
• Provide hands-on instruction in construction fundamentals, ensuring safety and readiness.
• Supervise learners in lab and on active construction sites, enforcing OSHA standards.
• Administer NCCER module tests and manage credential records in NCCER Registry.
• Assess learning outcomes and adjust instructional approaches to meet objectives.
• Maintain NCCER instructor certification through ongoing professional development.
• Represent Skilled US and the program with professionalism to students and partners.
