Tethered Talent is seeking a Senior Manager of Commercial Sales Training to own US commercial readiness for a complex field sales business. The role emphasizes outcomes such as rep ramp time, pipeline progression, and forecast accuracy.

The ideal candidate will move beyond traditional training, driving real improvements in sales execution and coaching, with travel quarterly and potential expansion of team over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7-12+ years in sales training, enablement, or commercial capability.
• Experience in a large, complex organization supporting a field sales force.
• Strong command of sales methodology, pipeline management, deal coaching, forecasting discipline, and field behavior change.
• Evidence training moved sales execution or commercial results.
• Outstanding presentation skills and stage presence: high-energy and professional.
• Medical device/healthcare/capital-equipment background preferred; quota-carrying or field sales mgmt a plus.
• LMS and digital-learning-platform experience; onboarding and certification program-building preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt global commercial-training programs for the US market across hospital, retail pharmacy, long-term care, and national-account customers.
• Lead new-hire onboarding end to end with 90-day ramp and readiness certification.
• Deliver training virtually, classroom, and field-based on value-based selling and multi-stakeholder deals.
• Equip frontline managers to coach through pipeline reviews and forecast discussions.
• Embed training into QBRs, deal reviews, and normal sales cadence.
• Measure impact by business outcomes and feed insights back to global partners.
