Job summary
Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Manager of Application Development to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions. This fully remote role combines hands-on architecture with management, guiding a team of engineers and collaborating with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
The role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, AWS, and AI-enabled development, with a focus on Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps, and CI/CD
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering/app development experience.
- 5+ years of technical leadership or engineering management experience.
- Strong hands-on architecture and solution design experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java, APIs, microservices, AWS, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Develop high-level and low-level solution designs and ensure successful technical implementation.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers (approx. 5-7).
- Drive projects from design through production delivery and partner with stakeholders.
