Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Manager of Application Development for a fully remote role. You will lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise applications and APIs while managing a team of engineers in a hands-on leadership capacity.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in software engineering, strong Java/Spring Boot experience, API-first design, and cloud expertise on AWS, with exposure to AI-assisted development and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering or application development experience.
• 5+ years in technical leadership or engineering management roles.
• Hands-on architecture and solution design experience across enterprise systems.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot background with API-first, microservices patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise applications and modernization Initiatives.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java, APIs, microservices, AWS, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop high-level and low-level solution designs and ensure successful implementation.
• Lead 5-7 engineers and drive projects from design through production delivery.
