Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Billing & Payments Software Development. This remote, full-time role drives end-to-end stability, data integrity, and modernization of billing and payment platforms across DPI, GTV, and legacy systems.

You will own payment processing integrations, vendor relationships, and incident governance, while partnering with Finance, Product, and Engineering to minimize revenue leakage and improve customer trust through scalable, automated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in billing, payments, revenue systems, or fintech/telecom monetization platforms.
• 3+ years of people leadership or cross-functional leadership.
• Experience operating in a multi-platform ecosystem (multiple billing engines, payment gateways, ERP integrations).
• Strong understanding of payment processing concepts (authorization, settlement, funding, disputes/chargebacks).
• Experience leading incident response, problem management, and RCA practices for production issues.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end billing and payments platform stability across all services.
• Define controls to prevent missing or incorrect bills and ensure accurate rating and invoicing.
• Drive billing data integrity and reduce technical debt from manual corrections.
• Oversee payment processing integrations and vendor relationships; ensure reliable authorization and settlement.
• Lead incident response and governance; deliver RCAs and preventive fixes.
• Define and execute an AI-first modernization roadmap to unify billing engines and gateways.
