Job summary

Zeely Inc. is seeking a proactive Payment Operations Specialist to own our payment infrastructure, optimize performance, and ensure seamless billing for SaaS users.

You will manage providers, drive optimization initiatives, and collaborate across Product, Finance, Risk, and Engineering in a remote-first setting. Responsibilities include monitoring acceptance rates, configuring payment routing, and maintaining recurring billing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Payment Operations, Payments Management, or Billing Ops.
• Strong understanding of online payment lifecycle, card processing, and billing systems.
• Hands-on with payment orchestration platforms; Solidgate experience is a plus.
• Experience configuring payment routing strategies and resolving issues with providers.
• Proven ability to optimize payment conversion and acceptance rates.
• Hands-on with recurring payments and subscription models.
• Strong data-driven decision making; proficient in Excel; SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of the payment infrastructure and high processing quality.
• Manage payment orchestration platform and configure it effectively.
• Build relations with payment providers, banks, and vendors; resolve issues.
• Drive initiatives to improve payment performance and monitor metrics.
• Administer billing system and ensure smooth recurring payments and flows.
• Analyze payment data and deliver KPI reports; collaborate with Product/Finance/Risk/Engineering.
