Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Mainframe professional with 7+ years of MQ, CICS, and Healthcare Claims processing experience to lead design, development, and optimization of enterprise MQ-based messaging and Claims applications.

The role involves collaboration with onsite and offshore teams, technical leadership, code reviews, and support across SIT/UAT/production deployments. Remote work options are available for this position.

Qualifications

Experience with mainframe technologies including CICS and MQ.
Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes knowledge.
Experience with release management and code promotion across environments.
Experience in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical solutions for Claims applications on mainframe systems.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe Claims applications using CICS and MQ.
Collaborate with business Analysts, QA, PMs and support teams for project execution.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore teams and coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
Serve as a key contact for technical issue resolution.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
Support SIT, UAT, production deployments and post-implementation activities.
