Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe with 7+ years of MQ, mainframe technologies, and Healthcare Claims processing. The position is remote and involves partnering with onsite and offshore teams to design, develop, and optimize enterprise MQ-based messaging solutions and Claims applications.

You will lead technical changes, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure deployments across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments while adhering to coding

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in MQ, mainframe technologies, and Healthcare Claims processing.
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Experience with code migration and release management processes.
• Knowledge of post-deployment validation and backout procedures.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Transform business requirements into scalable, compliant mainframe systems for Claims applications.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe Claims applications using CICS and MQ.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and support teams to ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
• Serve as a main contact for technical issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
